Factcheck.org Counters Anti-Obama Smears

FactCheck.org, which is tasked with keeping politicians honest, must have tripled in size to handle this election. This video examines two of the smears that have circulated a lot in the Jewish community: his birth certificate (yes, he was born in the U.S.) and his position on Iran (yes, he takes the threat seriously). For good measure, one of the Rezko attacks on Obama is also dismissed.

Stop Hatin' on Community Organizers (video)

On Wednesday, Rudy Giuliani and Sarah Palin went out of there way to belittle community organizers. There has been a lot written about the great dis, with many arguing that this is the easiest way for the McCain/Palin campaign to use the race/ghetto issues against Obama. Which sounds about right to me. But I'd say community organizers are not the best group to antagonize, given that they will only be doubly motivated to work for Obama/Biden. And given their particular talents... maybe not such a good idea.
